Made for mini jam 162 (heat) in 3 days without an engine (using pygame)

Pyrions 

In Pyrions, survival is everything. Navigate through each room, defeating enemies to progress.

Collect gold from fallen foes to enhance your abilities and stay alive.

Your heat is your life force—use it to combat the chilling enemies. If your heat drops to zero, so do you.

The goal of the game is to survive. Kill to survive, or face death in the icy depths of the room.

Controlls 

Movement -> A,W,D,S

Attack location -> mouse position

Attacks Type -> left click and right click

Healing -> right click

Spells: 1,2,3

Pause: ESC

Show FPS: F3


Important Info

Attacks: Right is stronger than Left, Right can only be used if player is not moving,

Spells: Spell 1 allowing the player to noclip for the current room

Spell 2 Teleports the player in the opposite side of the room

Spell 3 Fires multiple left-click attacks,more enemies more attacks

Cost: Attacks cost Heat, Spells cost Coins

Healing: You can heal by trading your half coins for it.

To do that you need to press right click while moving ( 1 button 2 actions )

Cooling: The more heat, the faster the cooling

Scaling: Speed and Strength depend on heat

Nice! In the current state of the game, you can maintain the heat indefinitely (or until you accidentally walk into the enemies). That was my first game and I’m really happy to hear you enjoyed it.

Well played!!! To be honest, I didn’t expect anyone to play that game jam entry after 4 months (it feels like I made it last week, lol). I really learned a lot back then. For the past 2-3 months, I’ve been working on a hopefully Steam release game, and every day I get closer and closer of having a demo while improving my game dev skills.

I really appreciate you playing my games, even if they’re not yet in the state I’d like them to be. I might re-make it in the future or make it more polish, as it’s not that bad for a browser game!
